November "tour" part 1.

It was two dates this weekend and it'll be two dates next weekend - does that count as a "tour"? Of course it does! Step one was to make the sizeable journey between Nottingham and Cardiff, in that tiny gap between finishing work o'clock and going on stage o'clock. Our rental car's never had such a flogging: 100mph in the rain, for around three hours. Incredibly, we made it. Thanks again to the bands that waited! Effort, Wolves and Kutosis.

The latter band released an album! Kutosis' Fanatical Love is amazing.

Next day it was off to Manchester with Kutosis, and our old friends Samoans.

We had to borrow the venue's brand new, expensive radio mics, because we unhelpfully have three singers. There were no stands, and no tape was allowed to touch them. Thank god for our resourceful friends, who helped us wrap the mics in baking paper, then tape them to the wobbly stands. MacGuyver-level inventing.

I love playing shows with these people. Thanks to Barely Regal and Ghostland for inviting us.

Buried in equipment, we came home. "Tour" part two starts Friday, in Nottingham, at the Chameleon.
